We maintain this position on the Bible's authority over Christian belief and practice since the church's inception. For us, the Bible is infallible because it is either directly inspired by God or reflects God's own character. The Bible was written by men under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who revealed truths about God and gave them instructions for living as Christians.
